The Gold Piedestal - Tamara Moskvina

Tamara Moskvina is a great figure skating coach, but also she was a good pair skater. With her partner - who also is the great figure skating coach now - Alexei Mishin she competed with other future great coach Tatiana Tarasova, whose partner was Georgy Proskurin. At Spartakiada - the last competition of Tatiana Tarasova as a skater - Tarasova-Proskurin were the first, and Moskvina-Mishin were second.

'The Gold Piedestal' is a series about great Russian sportsmen and coaches. In this film, they show not only Moskvina's pairs, but also footage of Moskvina/Mishin skating: when they were sportsmen as well as now, when they are famous coaches. BTW, Moskvina ia 60+ year old ;)

'Echo' with Elena Sokolova

Elena Sokolova On NTV+ there is analitic sport TVprogram titled 'The Echo'. This time the show was hosted by Denis Pankratov and Yevgeny Kafelnikov. They tried to speak with Elena about figure skating, about tendencies in every kind of figure skating, but Elena was not in very serious mood, so they just chit-chat about Elena, her attitude to figure skating, sport at all, her favourite things, etc. The interview is very interesting and funny.

Tatiana Anatolievna Tarasova in 'Sport Solo'

Two weeks ago Tatiana Tarasova was a guest of TV show 'Sport Solo'. It is just one-hour program, where a host has a conversation with a guest, and viewers can take part of it by phone and Internet. Of course, it is in Russian :)
They spoke almost about everything: about recent Tatiana's appointment (she is the head coach of Russian team now), her skaters, Russian figure skating, etc.
I like TAT! Last Worlds lucky me had a chance to talk with her for several minutes. We had a gift to Alexei Yagudin (I am an administrator of Russian AYMB 'Ice Gladiator' and our community had done a gift to Alexei's birthday), so we ask her to pass it to Alexei. She is so kind, light and interesting! We asked her for photo and autographs, but she said: "Ok, Ok, but firstly I want to kiss you, my dear girls!" She kissed all of us, and even girls, who were not with us - just fans who wanted her autographs :) I still feel her energy, when recollecting this moment. She is adorable! She carefully looked through our gift and wispered: "My dears, your imagination is fantastic! We never know what gifts expect from you, fans!" She was very touched. I'll remember this short conversation for my whole life.

About me

Hello,

my nickname is Rosinka, in Russian it is 'DewDrop'. I am 21-years-old Russian girl. Ok, I am not actually Russian by nationality, I am Russian by citizenship. I live in Russia, speak Russian as mother tongue, and don't know my native languages. So I am Russian.

Recently figure skating takes major part of my life (I don't count studing as part of life). I am not a skater, just a fan, huge fan. Here I'll write my thoughts about figure skating.

<...>

Brian is not my only favourite skater. Yes, I prefer men singles and ice dancing to women singles and pairs, and I like Joubert, but he is not the only fav. This season I just have falled for Jeff Buttle! I admire his 'Sing, sing, sing' and piano LP, and especially I love his gala programme from Trophee Eric Bompard! The awful fate is I eventually erased Jeff's Skate Canada SP from Topfield before I had downloaded it to PC... I impatiently waited for Trophee Eric Bompard, expecting to recorf his short program, but NTV+ did not show short programmes at all! They do show every fs event, they can receive, so it seems that French TV did not give them shorts. But CCTV5 received shorts... Fate! Also I like Brian's 'Agent 007' and erased it too! I haven't any idea how I could erase both these shorts... By the way Brian's was from SA, and Jeff's from SC. It was 2 different files...
